I gifted this to my 10 year old Nephew, helped him assemble it. Both of us, with much excitement, assembled the whole crane. We couldn't wait to watch it work. But much to our dismay, the whole contraption was of INFERIOR BUILD QUALITY, the parts started coming off, getting broken at joints,water leaking n soaking the board - the entire frame being utterly FRAGILE. We fixed it with rubber bands, tapes and what not. In an hour we were exhausted and left it in a corner. More than the money I paid, I was hurt by the disappointment of my nephew. The kid loves building stuff and I usually get him LEGOs and we build it together. I got this JUNK after going through the reviews and the made in India tag. I'm sorely disappointed. Dear Company, If you're reading this, all I have to say is this. You got a novel idea, poorly built product that you marketed extravagantly to a naive and passionate customer group - Kids n thier loved ones. These kind of exercises stir up their creative juices and we all have a responsibility to nurture and let it flow. A kid spends hours building it and at the end he's got a FRAGILE, SUBSTANDARD product that barely holds together for an hour. It's such a Killjoy and above all eventually drives them away from any such creative pursuits. For parents or anyone who loves em, more than waste of money, it's a bit heartbreaking to see them patch it again n again and then throw it to a corner, exhausted and sullen.

Advantages

My 9 year old kid enjoyed putting it together and was super excited to see hydraulics at work. I ordered it to help my kid understand the concept of hydraulic as she was really curious about it. This toy was challenging to put together but she could do it independently. Also, use of rack and pinion is very nice. We all enjoyed playing with it once it was assembled, including our 2.5 yr old kid.

As shown in the video and the image, the prduct is working exactly as the video which Silkrute showed.must buy. The instructions in the instruction manual arealso very clear. It takes 3 hours to build. But once you build it you can play as long as you want, no limit of playtime.?????????? Excellent product.

Well, you and your kid will enjoy assembling it and that's the big part of the whole fun here. Keep aside your work for few hours! Yes, sit with your kid, follow the instruction manual like an obedient student but don't forget to explain the science behind the design of various parts and keep assembling it! Me and my 7 year old kid enjoyed it! Quality of the parts is excellent; I admired everything inside the box in terms of quality! The instruction manual is big but so well written and well organized that you will enjoy assembling the whole thing! But there is a weakness - use of several injection syringes to create a hydraulics driven system. Filling the barrels to create adequate pressure is a serious job and the whole mechanism does not work well at times. Still I will recommend it. Its a great quality thoughtful toy for engagement and learning.

One of the best gifts I have purchased for my child. Parts are sturdy and of high quality. Pictorial assembly instructions, easy for children to understand (6/7 year olds may need adult supervision). 2-3 hours of assembly time provide good parent-child bonding. The finished product provides much excitement to the children and keeps them engaged for a long time. My 3 year old quickly figured out how to control the 3-way motion of the crane and was super excited. Will definitely recommend for kids who have an interest in DIY kits.
