This was my first time using gouache paint and I simply loved it. It gives a smooth, matte finish to the paintings and can easily be photographed without any glare. I love the variety in colors and their consistency is very smooth and creamy. We can wet any area of the painting again with water and apply more colors for merging if we want. This isn't like acrylics, as when they dry, we can't wet them again for merging or corrections.
