It's not a strong anti dandruff shampoo. It's very mild in gel form. It lathers very light and has a very mild refreshing fragrance. I bought it to treat seborrheic dermatitis (sever stubborn dandruff) and extremely oily scalp, but I feel this shampoo is too mild for these clinical conditions. Novalect ketoconazole and coal tar lotion worked well for me. I bought this one for a change. I am writing this review after three washes. I think it's a good shampoo for light to medium dandruff.
