It could be better. Finish of comb bristles is not good and is rough.. I would not recommend for newborns as it is harsh for their scalp.. Brush is also not soft

My son really loves the brush, infact so much that he doesn't let me brush his hair only, the moment i take in my hand he turns his head where ever i take and so i can't brush his hair. I have to hide it from him to comb his hair.

Definitely not soft and the teeth of the comb are a bit weak too as they broke in few weeks of light usage. Would expect the teeth to be a little softer and stronger.Update after a month's usage: almost all the teech broke off on one of the comb as shown in picture.
