I just received the product. The plastic used looks sturdy. The SS plate is placed in between the plastic frame and the slice thickness is adjusted based on the movement of the supporting plate. The blade is fixed and does not have plain sharp edge. the cutting edge is not upto the mark and will irritate you for using. Avoid buying this product.
