Need to be more fine in finishing of the material. Function wise it slices onion very fine. The adjustments can be done as per our need.

The blade is simply not sharp enough. It requires considerable force to slice something hard--like a carrot. And it mashes / squashes--rather than slices--something soft, like a ripe tomato. The handle (spiked knob) is not well designed to keep the food inside the stainless-steel slide. The food frequently slips over the edges of the slide. The mechanism for adjusting the thickness of the cut is exposed on the underside of the slicer. It would be difficult to insure that it is thoroughly clean--otherwise you could contaminate food the next time you use it. The mechanism also does not produce a uniformly thick slice. The slice is often thicker on one side of the cut than on the other side. I will not even bother using it. I am going to give it away.

Advantages
I've been using this for a while and it got the job done; not high grade but not a low grade. The cut thickness adjustment is not smooth and the level needs to be slightly adjusted manually. Overall it is a good product and you get what you paid for.
