I like Corelle but there is a reason I only rated this item 2 Stars. I ordered these 18 oz bowls so I would have something larger than my current cereal bowls.However, the bowls only hold 18 oz if you fill them to the tippy top so that they overflow if you move them. Even 14 oz is within a 1/4 inch of the bowl's top rim so is also easily spillable. The highest usable amount in the bowl would be 12 oz, just 2/3 of maximum amount.I just think this information should be included in the item description. I feel not mentioning this is likesaying a Dress fits a Size 10 ( but really only if you don't button it and zip it)

I have used Corelle for many years. Just added these to stretch out dishwasher runs. I use them to insulate hot 28 ounce bowls for watching TV, for beating eggs and for smaller food servings. Work just fine for my purposes.
