This is my second purchase of this carafe. The first one developed a crack, so I decided to get another one. I basically use this to heat water to use while making my pour over coffee. It works ok but ideally I would need a carafe which has a better handle and grip. This one has a soft plastic which gets hot and melts when it gets exposed to heat.Still trying to find a better alternative but havent found one on Amazon yet

The carafe is good enough for 3-4 member family. The glass isn't fragile. But the strainer cum lid is of made of cheap plastic. Expected a better quality strainer cum lid and handle from Borosil.

Very useful to boil liquids straight on the stove and serve immediately. Has an inbuilt filter too so no mess with straining with a strainer. Use it for making and storing green tea. Love it.
