It doesn't keep your Chapati warm, but definitely it keeps your Chapati free from sogginess and moisture. No need to wrap up with any foil or traditional cloth. The lock feature is there but it's hard to open the lid & you feel sometimes as the lid holder will come out and break,but then due to keeping hot Chapati it creates a vacuum which tightens the lid so strong. The product is very good. Go for it.

Mom, have tried it for chapati without the kitchen towel or cloth, but she is using the coaster that is provided in the unit. She does not feels great about it, since there is no locking mechanism for the lid, the water does gets collected underneath the coaster so it serves the purpose, but the warmth of chapati is not preserved.Have asked her to share the feedback after using the kitchen towel or cloth, will update here.

The knob on the lid is loose. The screw slips when i try to tighten it. How can I get a replacement for the lid. Otherwise the product is excellent

The MRP was shown to be 1650 at the time of booking the order.But the actual MRP as shown on the box is 695 . This amounts to wrong selling information and indirect cheating. Amazon should not tolerate this misinformation by the dealer as we have a big trust on Amazon.

Overall it's a good product from a quality perspective. But does not keep rotis warm and neither it has a locking mechanism. But prevents rotis from becoming soggy. Very easy to clean and looks very nice. But, inspite of all this I really liked it and will recommend if you are ok to ignore the lock feature, warmth.

Warmth: very poor.I bought this product in great expectation of the goodwill that Borosil has kept over the years as far as it's glass products are concerned.But with this purchase, i feel heavily LET DOWN by Borosil. The Roti server doesn't retain any warmth at all after 15 minutes of storage of roti. in it...It seems to be just like any other Casserole..Only tall claims with little output !!

Very cute looking. Keeps chappati's reasonably hot. There was a slight roughness around the side screw, but decided to smoothen it out myself, rather than return it.

Did job better than expected. Roti's are remaining as hot on dining table as when they are made in the kitchen for 15-20 minutes. Buying this as gifts for others.housewife can serve hot rotis to everyone in family. Earlier, everybody would want to last made roti. Solves that problem. 1.1 litre is good enough for even big rotis - also the depth is good maybe can accommodate 20-25 rotis.
