this woulld have been an ideal stand if the screw that came with it was in two sizes. the base is formed of almoost identical cones that need to be assembled like and hour glass and have the long screw go through the flate platter and through these cones and tightened with a wing nut. if this bolt came in two sizes we could choose to use one or both cones to get two eights for the standd. however no such luck and i think its a bit too high , but its personal opinion and you just might like it. Top is brushed SS and bottom stands are brushed SS too.
