We had great expectations when we had purchased this product. However the very first piece that we got was damaged! Off course, because of Amazons return policy, it was quickly replaced. However while the product was not damaged, there is was some defect in the metal of this product or the way it is made. Whatever we cook on this tawa always ends up cracking. We use it only for Dosas, but the middle portion gets heated very quickly, while the side portion is very slow to heat. This often results in the food being cooked in the center very quickly while the out,er sides of the Dosa remain uncooked!!. There is no uniform heat across the Tawa. Therefore totally Useless!

Advantages

Not sure what's wrong but our dose is not turning red like before tawa, we had square tawa from same manufacturer and it was good . Not sure the problem with this particular piece or current model itself
