Hawkins Tri-ply Stainless Steel Tava is designed to give you all the advantages of cooking in stainless steel while minimizing the divantages of sticking and burning that are normally associated with ordinary stainless steel. The cooking surface (inner surface) is made from 18/8 food-grade (AISI 304) stainless steel which is extremely hygienic most durable does not react with most foods and does not pit or corrode. The heavy gauge aluminium core spreads heat well for even cooking with no hot spots and retains heat for quick cooking. It is sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel and does not come in contact with food on the cooking surface. The base (outer surface) is made of AISI 430 grade magnetic stainless steel. Hence this cookware can be used on all domestic induction electric ceramic and halogen cooktops. Hawkins tri-ply stainless steel Tava is durable well-balanced and stays flat for quick cooking on induction and electric cooktops. The 3.5 mm extra thick tava has a unique shape with a flat base and gentle slog sides has just the right curvature for optimal cooking results - oil does not pool nor spill over the sides. The placement of the rivets is carefully designed to maximise the cooking area. The strong 6.0 mm thick stainless steel stay-cool wire handle is comfortable and safe to hold even when the tava is hot.

No doubt it is a Healthy option for cooking food but be ready to baking soda and vinegar for cleaning it properly when you use it for extended time e.g. like making besan chilla which takes 10 mins each. When we use for extended time periods the outer circumference of the Tawa gets really dirty but no pain no gain

It is a waste of my money, it's is not triply as whatever you cook like Paratha, uthappa, or chillas etc does stick. And just after one use it shows burnt marks on surface. If your looking for triply kindly check out meyer, sthal or bergner. Even vinod is offering good quality triply

The tava is horrible. This is the condition of new tava. The roti gets completely burned. When i tried to return it, no one came to pick this product. Its really very annoying that after spending 1200rs the quality and service is horrible.. the dealer is not even attending the complaint. Please don't buy this product

I dont think this is original hawkins. I think they sent Silkrute brand solimo ss tawa. Because hawkins is a reputed brand and it wont be like this.
