The edges have spoilt by about 1 inch. Unexpected from this brand. AS CLARIFIED BY THE COMPANY, THE EDGES ARE SPOILT DUE TO IMPROPER CLEANING. THE OIL NEEDS TO BE THOROUGHLY CLEANED AFTER EACH USE. ELSE THE RESIDUE OIL WILL GET BAKED ON TO THE TAWA IN COOKING NEXT TIME/DAY.

I read some good reviews and purchased this tawa. Sadly, was quite disappointed. It takes very long for the tawa to heat up, even on medium-high heat. Except from roti or parantha, tawa is practically can't be used to cook anything else on it. Because all other kinds of batter/dough stock to it. Cleaning it everytime is a huge headache. Has to be soaked in hot water and soap solution for a long time and then one needs to spend atleast 10-15 minutes scrubbing it to clean properly after every use, otherwise sticky oil marks form on it. Not at all suitable for daily Indian households.

Heat distribution : Very good.No need to use high flame at all. Easy to clean : please don't use rough cloth. we can clean it easily Durability: i have read reviews but after 1 week usage i didn't find any damages.please read the instructions carefully before use it . Don't use it on High flame directly .Low flame to medium flame is more than sufficient .I recommend not buy for "DOSA" making
