I have been using it for more than two years.I am planning to another Hawkins futura product,so before that I thought of reviewing this one. After using it more than 5times in a week for the last 2years ,these are what I find Pros - Rotis do not stick at all - Easy to clean and maintain - Handles can be used with bare hands even when the tava is hot - Looks good even after years of using - Worth every penny spent - No scratches or peeling of layers after repeated use - Hopefully should last for a few more years Cons - Takes long time to reach the optimum temperature to make Rotis - High flame has to be maintained throughout for cooking Rotis - cleaning can get difficult if the oil is not cleaned after every use, and also tava cannot be immediately cleaned while it's still hot Overall a good product and highly recommended Hope this review was useful for potential buyers

Advantages

This tawa is very good to make rotis very quickly. Once the tawa gets heated, we reduce the flame to either medium or sim and the rotis come out really well. I don't understand how and why others are complaining of burnt rotis. We just use it like we use regular iron tawa and it's been 2 weeks and we haven't burnt any roti. However, the only problem is the cleaning. This tawa needs to be washed thoroughly after every use, else oil just sticks and gets hardened next time you use it. Removing those hardened stains takes a hell lot of effort and soap.

Advantages

Besides cooking roti/parantha, I toast my bread/bun over it without using a single drop of oil which didn't happen with my earlier tava. Not exactly but somewhat works like nonstick.
