I have been using it for more than two years.I am planning to another Hawkins futura product,so before that I thought of reviewing this one. After using it more than 5times in a week for the last 2years ,these are what I findPros- Rotis do not stick at all- Easy to clean and maintain- Handles can be used with bare hands even when the tava is hot- Looks good even after years of using- Worth every penny spent- No scratches or peeling of layers after repeated use- Hopefully should last for a few more yearsCons- Takes long time to reach the optimum temperature to make Rotis- High flame has to be maintained throughout for cooking Rotis- cleaning can get difficult if the oil is not cleaned after every use, and also tava cannot be immediately cleaned while it's still hotOverall a good product and highly recommendedHope this review was useful for potential buyers

Like all Hawkins Futura products I purchased over the year, this one delivers 100%Like others have said, it is NOT non stick, and it is a roti tawa, NOT a dosa one. I have the flat tawa of the same brand for dosa, it is a myth you need a non stick pan for dosa too. Used correctly, both the flat and the concave tawa will not let food stick on it. But one need to use the pan correctly:In the case you are cooking dosa, rub the tawa with oil before heating. Heat on high until the oil smoke and turn to low, add some oil again and then cook dosa. on the concave tawa like this one, first heat on high until the pan is evenly hot, then turn to low and cook roti without oil on medium to medium low only. Add oil for paratha as usual.Futura products are super long lasting and you don't have to worry about the non stick coating breaking and leaking chemical into the food.

Heat distribution : Very good.No need to use high flame at all.Easy to clean : please don't use rough cloth. we can clean it easilyDurability: i have read reviews but after 1 week usage i didn't find any damages.please read the instructions carefully before use it . Don't use it on High flame directly .Low flame to medium flame is more than sufficient .I recommend not buy for "DOSA" making
