I read some good reviews and purchased this tawa. Sadly, was quite disappointed. It takes very long for the tawa to heat up, even on medium-high heat. Except from roti or parantha, tawa is practically can't be used to cook anything else on it. Because all other kinds of batter/dough stock to it.Cleaning it everytime is a huge headache. Has to be soaked in hot water and soap solution for a long time and then one needs to spend atleast 10-15 minutes scrubbing it to clean properly after every use, otherwise sticky oil marks form on it. Not at all suitable for daily Indian households.

Besides cooking roti/parantha, I toast my bread/bun over it without using a single drop of oil which didn't happen with my earlier tava. Not exactly but somewhat works like nonstick.
