1300/- is too much of cost for this product, First thing packaging is sturdy and good but inside there is vapour due to which I think rust is formed on pan, applied gingerly oil and kept aside for two days and washed pan with soap using dishwash liquid on cloth still rust mark are here and there kept pan aside again after applying gingerly oil. I have bought iron pan from local store before one month for home that was too nice and we got for 600/- rupees and he told it is pre-sesoned as he told o dint see rust on pan apart from some where on sides. After seeing description of this product I have bought this product with some trust but it was not true I felt. Pan was just polished not pre-sesoned.

I am impressed by the quality. It is absolutely worth the penny. It comes well seasoned and the cooking surface is well polished and is smooth. And there is nothing too much one needs to do besides the simple daily care of drying and oiling after each use. It comes with a one year warrant card. Unless it encounter damage during the transportation or a defective product at the time of making, there is hardly anything to worry about. This pice is going to last a lifetime! The first attempt of making dosa was partly successful. The second and third attempt was totally like a professional! Non-stick! Happy that I am getting good replacement for non-stick cookware at last. Delivery was also very good - double packed, prompt and before time! *Worthy of mentioning- there is star logo at the center of the back which is very beautiful! Thanks Amazon and Dynamics!

Awesome and healthy dosas, uttapams and chillas. It is awesome dosa tawa... cast iron so naturally non stick..... people please avoid non-stick and aluminum utensils.. switch to healthier versions like this one.

I'm writing review after using for couple of months We have followed all pre seasoning steps mentioned on brochure," Pros 1.Taste and flovur of dosa is extremely yummy ?? compare to taste of dosa from non stick pan with same batter 2.Dosa is crispy all the time 3. Dosa became favourite on cast iron tawa 4. Overall very happy with purchase Cons: Initially only mid area used to be brown colour rest of dosa was white colour though dosa is crispy But gradually after using it multiple times most of dosa area is brown colour as expected, so it is good that it is enhanced it's con I have suggested many of my friends to try this product

This is a good quality product however the pre-seasoning done is not up to the mark. To be fair I think they have done the best they could else the product would look very oily. You will have to do one round of seasoning yourself. The heat distribution is ok but not perfect. The centre part gets heated more, but I think this is the case with all iron tawas. You cannot compare this with a non-stick coated where heat distribution is perfect but you run the risk of consuming harmful nonstick coating chemicals. A tip to make dosas on this is to do the cooking on the iron tawa on medium flame. If you use high flame your dosa will be burnt in the centre. I use a small coat of a couple or drops of oil and I rub the surface with a cut onion before spreading the dosa batter. This ensures that the dosa doesn't stick.
