I additionally like the thick bottom of the cooker since it holds heat well and hence cooking time is lesser. It is more efficient than the regular pressure cooker. Since the bottom is thick, it is not advisable to keep it on a high flame for a longer period since food tends to burn. In short, you need to adjust heat and time given that it is very heat efficient.

As such its fine, no issues till now. Design makes it tricky to close when new, so had to struggle a bit until the rubber ring became a little lose. Also the bakelite handle chipped within 15 days of use. Easy to wash in the dishwasher though
