Such a Low quality steel, only outside looks like stainless steel , inside it's a mix of aluminium and steel or something, just with one use I can see black spots and even after 2 to 3 washes it spills black colour

3L@1630/-. I find this a 100% satisfactory purchase. 1. Sturdy s.steel body," 2. Food doesn't stick to the inside bottom (I'm habituated to cook in low flames)," 3. Elongated shape prevents bubbling out of juices from under the whistle or side of the lid," 4. The gasket is fresh & has no foul stink," 5. Lower body handle is attached with the body with two screws, thereby making it more stable than my previous 5L alpha deluxe one whose handle is ever loose & has to be tightened during every use," 6. Cooks rather quick," 7. Easy clean (my house-help too is very happy). Overall, I'm happy after one week's thorough use. Seems to be a Value For Money buy. Would give renewed review after few months' use. Edit:- After 3 months' use I'm really satisfied at this purchase. Doesn't require even full whistles when cooking relatively small quantities in low flame. Mutton too cooks to velvety softness. 3rd review:- Using practically twice or thrice everyday since I bought it in June'21 and it's November'23 now. A totally delightful buy. Required change of gasket once after one year, and is working beautifully since. No heat marks or bending of bottom or change of colour occurred. I'm very happy with this. My mother bought one after seeing mine. Her's too is working absolutely fine. I've actually ordered my 3rd prestige pressure cooker today. Keeping fingers crossed.

First shipment came with pressure valve separated. The plastic does not screw back on to the metal. Returned it and got another. The 2nd shipment came with a broken handle. manufacturer -Prestige- Quality Control is very bad. Based on this will never buy Prestige product again…. remember the saying… you wind up spending most by by cheap products!!!

But sorry to say the whistle broke off even before the first use. Prestige company should make note and improve it's products. Keep up the good Name of the products
