Advantages

Light Weight and Good for Quick Food Preparation. However, One should realize that this is not at all suit able for heavy duty application. Metal is thin to keep weight and cost minimum. So Be cautious while using on High Flame Stove. In my case, My wife uses it on Induction to quickly boil my Baby' s Vegetables Food and it solves the Purpose. Base is also thin, thats why it is not recommended to use on High Flame Gas Stove. Afterall, this is what we get the amount we pay for.

Advantages

I have used aluminium cookers of prestige. But when ordered steel . The water leaks. My friend also faced the issue. So we ordered pigeon. Which has better performance than this and much more value for money.

I purchased this small one to make dal or cook a little amount of rice. It's been less than a month since I have been using it. Everything is okay, but the inner side wasn't polished at all....It seems like a raw metal from inside. From outside, it looked so good. Even the size description is inappropriate. It was given in description that it is a 2 litre cooker. But when we poured water and measured the container it could fill only 1.6 litres. Don't know how the capacity is calculated.

Disadvantages

This cooker developed two structural defects within 8 months. Each time i had to take the cooker to various service centers all over bangalore to get it checked and replaced. The replacement cooker would also develop some new body defect (like bottom plate falling off due to improper welding, crack appearing in the body making it liable to explode etc). The worst thing is they dont even do proper quality checks before sending the cooker. They would leave out parts like the weight etc and then we have to run around to get it replaced. They dont even have a proper return procedure. They will keep handing you over to one person after the other. The website dosent even have a return complaint for this product!! Pressure cookers are excluded from online feedback registrations itseems !! Each time to take the cooker to their service centere i had to spend 500 rs by auto.. Pls dont buy this cooker from Prestige.. They are pathetic in not only the quality of their cookers but also their servicing and quality check and customer support.
