I used it first time to cook khichdi. But, even after 20 minutes of low flame, there was no whistling. On 25 March 2023, I contacted pigeon customer service, they said Register a ticket, but that link is not working. Amd their policy is that customer have to handover the product to the service centre, then, after 1 month, a new replacement will be delivered at your address. I mean seriously 1 month for the cooker replacement. Pigeon has the worst after sale service. Their policies for warranty claim are absurd. In no way, the warranty claim process is customer friendly. I will never ever buy any pigeon product. Stovecraft, you have lost a customer.

Despite of negative reviews about damaged product, I dared to buy the item, and my story was no different thatn others, the product was damaged. Another handle was replaced as it was different from the image shown on package. Don't take any risks, dont buy this product ever.
