Hi, I purchased this product in month of December. It is stopped working after 3 month, when try to contact the customer care which stovekraft. they are informing that they stopped supporting Pigeon product. I collected one number but no response at all. Now i have to take it near local repair shop to fix the issue. Worst product and service.

Firstly, the handle of the rice cooker is broken. I decided to not go ahead with an exchange as it's a big hassle for me.I've used rice cookers before, out of India, and this product is not the best. The rice shouldn't stick to the bottom, but it did and got brown. I didn't use the steel plate they gave, but I reckon, it is a must to save the rice from burning. The aluminium pot is very thin which is why the rice burns easily. I've used other rice cooker for 10 years and it never got burned, otherwise what's the point of automatic rice cooker!!I'll try it with the plate and see the result.Not satisfied, nor dissatisfied.I'm updating my review and giving it a 1 star. Even with the steel plate the pot burns and the whole thing produces fumes. Not happy with the product and wouldn't recommend.

It cooks basmati rice perfectly. Just add double the quantity of water for the quantity of rice. Add salt accordingly. And press cook button. When done button automatically comes up. Than switch cooker off and only open cooker after 15 minutes. Let the steam cook the rice. And when you open it. You cooked it like a master chef ??
