Advantages

Good cooker, but need to be very careful while closing. If it is not properly closed steam goes out. No whistle so you need to guess when the food would be cooked (can't count instead sec/mins you need to monitor).

Has a very aesthetic as well as smart look.. though separating the pressure valve gives problem sometime.. Also the screw which fixes the Handle with main body requires to be tightened, every few days..

Disadvantages

Within months of use all the bolts are loose and can't be tightened. Because of loose handle it is very difficult to work with. It is good product till you run into this issue.

Review for Hawkins Futura Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker, 4 Litres:- Durable and heavy weight than required (Handling this heavy piece is a bit of concern during wash)- The Curvy design makes washing difficult- Ease of use - very poor. No indication to identify whether item fully cooked or not (such as in traditional cookers we used to have pressure weight(whistle)). Hawkins Futura has such one but it's not straightforward and confusing.By using Hawkins Futura for 4 months, I've decided to go for normal(traditional) pressure cooker.

Advantages

Superb product, I love it. Only con is its weight and that makes handling and washing difficult. There are many negative reviews complaining that the cooker is not whistling. It will never whistle. Its not a whistling cooker like the traditional ones. We have to calculate only the time when the cooker attains full operating pressure according to the food items we cook. Food or fluids may splash if correct amount of liquid is not used. Need to refer the manual thoroughly otherwise one may find it difficult to use. First time users need much patience and practice for best use of this product
