Before this pressure cooker, I had been a long-time user of Prestige cookers. For years, I remained frustrated with ineffective steam-building in Prestige cookers as gaskets of outer rim cookers give away rather rapidly. I stayed away from Hawkins as their mouth would seem very small for having a clear look at the food inside. This Hawkins model however has a wide enough mouth and its classic inner-lid helps build the pressure early enough.
