The double-thick base stays flat heats evenly and is ideal for light frying before pressure cooking. Each Futura features an inside-fitting lid. This design is inherently safer than conventional cookers. Thus it is pressure-locked for safety like a jetliner door! The safety valve is located under the lid handle bar so that when it operates the steam is safely deflected downwards. From the first use it created problems. Whenever we are going to use it, it's lid never adjusted to its inner pot properly. That's why continuous vapor flow is occurring from the sides of the lid. That is so embarrassing and time consuming. We checked it's gasket, but the problem is with the shape of the lid. We did not return it after use from our sense of ethics. But our question is about the originality of the product. We have been using many products of Futura buying from local store for several years and we know the quality very well. After this incident, we will think before buying it on the online platform.
