The unique pressure regulating system gives you the convenience of finger-tip pressure release and prevents clogging of the steam vent. The double-thick base stays flat heats evenly and is ideal for light frying before pressure cooking. Each Futura features an inside-fitting lid. This design is inherently safer than conventional cookers. Thus it is pressure-locked for safety like a jetliner door! The safety valve is located under the lid handle bar so that when it operates the steam is safely deflected downwards. I have purchased the Hawkins Futura pressure cooker from Silkrute. But within 2-3 months usage, there is a problem that there is leakage from the lid probably due to the faulty rubber gasket or may be even the faulty lid. I would like Silkrute to take up with the manufacturer and advise the solution for the same. Daily we are facing this problem . Please advise. Very nice easy to use . Doest spill-out if you know proportion of water , even sometimes I added extra water to check it but still doesn't spill, it means if your making blunder than it could not help you, otherwise it is much much batter than any conventional cooker.
