Given the price, this is a decent product. One pro is - easy to clean and maintain, which has more to do with the model than the quality of productCon is that it doesn't evenly heat. Only 3/4 of the coil heats, which is evident from the patch/heat marks you see after a few uses.Fits for bachelors. For family,would recommend to invest more and buy a better quality one

I have been using this product since one year. I use it to cook brown rice, Maggie and for boiling sprouts, Chana, veggies. If you cook directly in the kettle, definitely kettle will be burnt to one side, as the power/heat distribution is at only one side of the kettle. I add enough water into kettle and I use a small bowl, where in I add my ingredients(rice\veggies) and place the bowl in kettle. So its in a way steam cooking. I can check in between to see if its cooked. Anything which are liquids can be cooked in this. But if u want to stir fry, U will face problem in cleaning and food will be burnt.

Advantages

Can use this for boiling water, preparing black tea or coffee, boiling eggs. You can also use it for boiling milk but there are chances of getting burnt which needs to be taken care of.One issue is, the heating is not even.
