Advantages

I would not recommend for traveling unless you pack safely with bubble wrap as it has glass based lid. Can be used only for boiling water, egg and steaming. When boiling I could see only particular section of bottom getting heated more and forms precipitation/discolouration which is not removable. Boiling milk is a big no as milk getting burnt and sticking to the bottom as same section and milk smells as burnt.

Good product. I have been using it over a month. It helps me alot. It makes my job in the kitchen a little easy. You can make daal,rice,boil egg, i have even used to to boil chicken. Boil anything you like. Goid for making maggie too.

Comes in really handy to boil water for a quick cup of tea or coffee. The kettle has a glass lid with an air opening which is good unlike plastic lids which tend to leave plastic taste/smell in the water. Do not fill the water to the brim or else it would spill while boiling. Its easy to clean and maintain. I used this product for one year and I am writing a review today after it got spoilt after full usage. Would advise not to use for continuous boiling, keeping an interval during the next boil would make its life longer. I am satisfied with this product, it served me well from November 2019 till January 2021. It might have lasted longer its usage was very high in my case. Product recommended.

The product is good for it has multiple uses. I use it for warm water, boiling eggs, steam vegetables. I do not find it fit for cooking things like rice, noodles or boil milk because the steel container is thin and things get stuck to it easily which are difficult to clean. The lid quality is also good. Overall a good product. It has three temperature levels but does not have timer or auto cut off in case if it is left on. At this price this product is amazing.

Disadvantages

It's a simple kettle which will do basic jobs like boiling water/milk, making noodles but don't expect it to perform more than that. The food tends to stick to the bottom where the heating element is, thus making it difficult to clean. And you have to be careful about not letting water into the base or dial. Considering I bought it for 959, I would advise to invest a few hundred more and buy an induction plate and a pan. It will be more versatile and useful for bachelors looking to make simple meals. I have packed it up and consider it a waste of my money. Hopefully you won't make the same mistake!
