It’s been over 2 years and it works very well. Both for water and eggs. It is perfect for winter seasons and even during periods of sickness it easy to use. Though I would suggest to be careful not to let water evaporate while heating often.

Best product this is to cook when you stay alone in PG or hostel!! You can cook anything and everything no need to be worried also always pour water and then keep the cooker on the base and switch on ..also please note if you are cooking vegies the light will not be on for a long time it will keep on and off for sometime untill u add all your ingredients to the vessel...

After few days it not working properly it's temperature control get corrupted turning on and off rapidly. Not able boil anything. Btw I returned this product. And ordered same one which I got in broken condition and again returned it and asked for refund but Amazon customer support muddled me for the refund which takes whole a month.
