First, the product I received is working well. I have used it for more than a week now. But you need to know these things before deciding to buy it:1. The cooker/heater does not switch off completely after water boils. It does go off, but after a while it will resume boiling again. I find this very inconvenient and unsafe too. You have to be there when you are using it. I dread the thought of leaving it on and going off as I am quite forgetful.2. I have not been able to find the right temperature to boil eggs. A few times, the water heated up too fast breaking the egg open. Other times, I got half-boiled eggs even after leaving the egg in the boiled water for quite a while.3. Like many others have pointed out, it is getting heated from only one side.Edited: The egg is boiling fine now. Just put the temperature to 100. But I got an ELECTRIC SHOCK while adjusting the temperature! Major letdown.This is a portable device and boils water quickly. But the first point I mentioned is a major drawback for me.

Best product for this price and since it's a compact unit, it can be carried while traveling, and it's very useful for hostelers and bachelor's whoever staying in a room. It can be used for cooking of Maggie boiling water or milk and even we can boil eggs with the help of attachment provided with the kettle. It's a worthy product for sure.

I used it to make for myself instant (Maggi) noodles and (Knorr) soups while I was travelling abroad, recently. I found it very useful -- thanks to Amazon for replacing and delivering it to me on time, as the one delivered to me earlier was used as well as broken -- for which, the seller is to be blamed. Some tips: Use silicone spatula for stirring, which ensures nothing sticks to the bottom and that too with no scratches. However, if something at all sticks to the bottom, fill the multi cooker with water and leave it aside for a few hours. That should make the burnt stuff separate from the bottom (either automatically or with minimal efforts/manual intervention). Cleaning of it, however, is not as easy as cooking. One has to be careful not to let water enter into the electrical components.

I order this product hoping that this product will serve my needs. Here's what I likes and dislikes about the product. #Likes 1. Cooks fast. Boiling milk takes less than 5 minutes. 2. Easy to use and clean. 3. Portability. Fits any backpacks. Complaints about this product 1. Uneven distribution of heat. 2. Lid is brittle as it is made of glass 3. Length of power supply chord is short. To sums up, you need not go for this product if you can shell out more money. This is suitable for working professionals, students, individuals etc who stays alone and didn't have the time to cook.

The shipment was very quick, I received it the day after I ordered. It was well packed in an Amazon carton with a "Fragile" sticker on it, in addition to the product carton. Therefore, the product sustained no damages. I received the warranty card, but it was neither filled nor was there a stamp on it - I do not know if Amazon purchase history or bill will be honoured if there are any problems within warranty period. In any case, I have carefully preserved the bill and the cartons. The body of the product is made of good quality steel and the lid is made of glass. The chord length is small (< 1 m) as some reviews have stated. I noticed that heating occurs only on one side (in a semicircular shape) and if left unattended, food tends to burn on that side. I do not know if this is how all the multi cook products are built, because I read it as a problem in several other products as well. However, auto cutoff works well - obviously only if the cooker is closed with the lid provided. The mouth is wide, so cleaning becomes very easy. I heated water and boiled milk - both with satisfactory results. I also successfully cooked rice in it. I tried a one-pot kichdi. But dal took too long to cook, despite my soaking the dal in water overnight. Overall, the dish took 1.5 h to cook, nonetheless, some of the dal was still uncooked. A little bit of attention during the final stages of cooking - stirring the pot, reducing the heat - prevents burning. I would say it is a mixed bag of a cooker - some good and some bad.

The product is good for it has multiple uses. I use it for warm water, boiling eggs, steam vegetables. I do not find it fit for cooking things like rice, noodles or boil milk because the steel container is thin and things get stuck to it easily which are difficult to clean. The lid quality is also good. Overall a good product. It has three temperature levels but does not have timer or auto cut off in case if it is left on. At this price this product is amazing.

For traveling it's an "ok" product because obviously you need electricity and you need to carry it with care, the glass lid must not break, the base should not bend or anything. About cleaning- I guess the heating system is not evenly spread across the pan in which you cook so food you prepare gets burned from the place where heating is done and Everytime you need to scratch and remove the stain really hard. Finally if I talk about how easy it is to use I would say it's fine cuz I still have difficulty figuring out the heating system.
