Vinod Platinum triply stainless steel series is made up with SAS technology which is a triple layer construction of stainless steel aluminium and stainless steel. The inner layer is made up of food grade 18/8 stainless steel which is hygienic stainless steel and rust free.The middle layer is consists of aluminium throughout this ensures in even heat distribution and uniform cooking of food. The third layer is made of 430 stainless steel for induction compatibility. This triply stainless steel patila is ideal for making tea coffee rice for boiling milk or for simply storing your food. This Tope is made from food safe triply stainless steel. It offers you a safe non-toxic and non-reactive cooking surface. The thick induction base which provides flexibility of using the Tope on gas stove induction hot plate. An ultra-efficient Induction friendly base ensures quick heat distribution. It offers superior heat distribution as well as shorter cooking time; inner layer of steel facilitates healthy cooking with minimal oil use.

Overall I am satisfied with the product. It is handy, easy to clean and thick enough so that base doesn't get burnt up so easily. But the price is on higher end. Had it been some cheaper I would rated it 5.

A very good addition to the kitchen in terms of looks and performance. Looks and feels (and weighs) premium. FYI, This tope is triply throughout- bottom and sides. Vinod also has a tope with triply only on the bottom and hence cheaper. BTW, Check for the VINOD SS seal on the underside and verify the volume (using water). I had received a tope that was smaller in size, didn't have the seal, and was much much lighter (as it only had 1 layer). Got it replaced with the proper one and have been fully satisfied since.
