This non stick Kadai is made with 100% Virgin aluminium which ensures even heat distribution and no food burning. This non stick Kadai is PFOA Free which ensures fully non toxic coatings so you can enjoy food absolutely worry free. The non-stick coating ensures that you use minimal oil .The handles are heat resistant and have rivets for better grip and durability. As it is non-stick the oil does not form any hard layer making it easy to clean it. A soft sponge with some soapy water is enough to get the greasiness off. Additionally because of its scratch-resistant coating you can use metal spoons without peeling the external coating off. This non stick Kadai is both induction and gas stove compatible. It is ideal for sauteing shallow frying and for preparing curries and gravies. It comes with tempered glass lid which allows you to see through the cooking process.

Did not receive the correct size. The box mentioned 28 cms, however the actual tava which I measured using a tape was 25 cms. I also compared to a tava which I'm already using of same size and clearly there was a size difference.

It is not thick and heavy as I expected. It is thin and lightweight. Good for cooking chowmein and fried rice for 1or 2 people. It takes half of the space when I cook chowmein for 1 person. I dislike the heavy glass lid. Never wanted the glass lid when buying but there was no option to choose this kadai without glass lid. I prefer steel lid. Due to steam formation on the glass lid during cooking, we can't see the food inside the kadai. So, the glass lid doesn't serves its purpose. My glass lid is lying useless after paying for it unwillingly. Seller shuld give option to buy the kadai with or without glass / steel lid. Update: Non-stick costing is thin. After a few months of use, there are a few dot spots where non-stick coating has come off.. To be honest, i have used steel spoon. But it is rounded-edge spoon of heavy quality, not cheap, sharp-edge ones. I have also used scourer pad but only old, limp one which doesn't scrach like new scourer pad and i have used it only lightly. If non-stick coating is thick, using metal spoon and using old limp scourer lightly will not scratch non-stick coating to the point of removing the coating. But, this pan has thin non-stick coating and as said before, non-stick coating has come off in small dots. I mean, there are spot of small dots where non-stick coating has come off. The company has tried to make affordable kadai by balancing capacity and features. It has big size, glass lid, induction base and is non-stick. All these at lower price. But they compromised on layer of non-stick coating and thickness of the kadai. The Kadai is thin and light weight which is not what i prefer. My verdict: Non-stick coating is thin and not long lasting. Maybe it is just just 2 layers of non-stick coating. Kadai is thin and light weight. Doesn't have premium feel. Go for Hawkins brand with 3 layer non-stick coating pans or kadai.
