Vinod Platinum triply stainless steel series is made up with SAS technology which is a triple layer construction of stainless steel aluminium and stainless steel . The inner layer is made up of food grade 18/8 stainless steel which is hygienic stainless steel and rust free. The middle layer is consists of aluminium throughout this ensures in even heat distribution and uniform cooking of food. The third layer is made of 430 stainless steel for induction compatibility. It seems the handles are the same for all sizes, and they are using handles of large kadai for all sizes. As a result, the curvature of the mating surface doesn't match that of the kadai and the rivets become oblique. Smaller the size, the larger the obliqueness of the rivet. Such a gap between the body and the rivet is unhygienic and the food part will set in and cannot be cleaned. The item is expensive, but still, their production line is clueless about the overall quality of the product.

Good deep kadai.. with lot of weight and good quality steel. You can't carry single hand like light weight aluminium ones. Doesn't stick to base much. Some times we get error code on induction stove . Food cooked in it get a special flavour and more softer

Have been using this since 3 years. Lasted very well, no dent or damage even after such long use. Very sturdy and will last many more years if used carefully. The only problem is that the food burns when I saute for over 5 mins, but easily deglazes with liquid. I find it difficult to achieve onion browning even on low flame. Great for other dishes where long saute periods are not required.
