Advantages

ive fallen for the nickel free hype and dont really know its worth paying the premium.but the contruction is superb...the super heavy lid makes it almost like a pressure cooker....and the rubberrised handle gets hot but not hot enough for seasoned cooks to not lift it.....wish someone built cast iron pots so well.if you dont believe in the nickle free concept though ...go for something cheaper as long as the handles are rubberised/wooden and they have a heavy duty lid.

Disadvantages

1. I purchased this product and am returning it as it is not tri-ply layer as claimed2. The weight is not 2kg. It is less than 2 kg.3. No where in the box or product or manual, tri-ply is mentioned4. The edge of kadhai can tell you if its authentic tri-ply. If its curved and bended, its probably single layer. Look at the image I have uploaded to get a feeling of how an authentic tri-ply may look.

Disadvantages

I like Meyer products. But this kadhai does not live up to the expectations. The kadhai is very light. The lid may be heavier than the kadhai. The handles in the kadhai and lid are unscientifically designed. Layer of silicone on only one end makes the other end very hot. You can't hold the handle while cooking or even lift the lid by its handle. It's too hot.In short, don't buy.

Advantages

Kadai looks very elegant with glass lid. Food gets stick on high flame as other steel kadai. Easy to wash. Price is high as compared to kadai of other brand.

Advantages

This Meyers product is very nice. Though the seller sent little damaged piece in lid of the kadai. This was a discounted piece and got for 4K from its original price that was 5k. However, the damage should have been informed beforehand by the seller Ponsand Pan which certainly wasnt. Not happy with the kind of service.

What is being said about it is not quite right. small work for big name. its design attracts. but what can i say This product is made in low weight. that's the downside of it. There is a problem of burning vegetables even on low flame. The smell of burnt vegetables in the food. why are they selling it so expensive. maybe it's business thinking. It can only be used for deep frying. I bought this excitedly. I am not completely satisfied.

It's a good product and the heat distribution and taste is good,easy to clean and cooking time is halfed with this,can cook any recipes with very little oil
