Advantages
First of all we need to understand what this product isAluminium utensils are not good for health and that is where steel is good. But people tend to use Aluminium utensils because of their heat symmetry where Steel falls short because Steel utensils cause uneven heatingSteel cookware is therefore difficult to use.The PROBLEM IS SOLVED with a triple ply where a layer of aluminium is pressed between two layers of food grade steel. Clearly, food grade steel (304 quality) and not just any steel quality. A lot of steel utensils available in the market are not 304 quality so be aware of this fact while buying steel. What TRI-PLY doesTri ply ensures that heating is even throughout the surface as you have an aluminium layer between the steel layersAlso, the food does not touch aluminium at all because aluminium is sandwiched all in betweenAll in all, it is a nicely designed product. There is only one issueIt needs a lot of care. Do the seasoning for initial few uses else this will lose colour. It will still lose colour over time. The material is study and there are handles, but some rubber grip on handles and holes in the cover would have been better.Overall, a good product to use and save yourself from the bad effects of aluminium

I really love this kadai. Superb product. Meets all expectations as per the price. Easy to cook and items will not stick to the pan. I have fried pakodas, fish, eggs. Made different types of sabjis with dry and wet consistencies. All come up well. Things even taste better than my kada’s.

This is my third purchase of Bergner product. I have also used Stahl stainless steel kadhai without the handle. But, the quality of stainless steel used in Bergner product is better than Stahl.Coming to the Tasla, I was replacing aluminum kadai with stainless steel one for making upma and poha. This product size and shape helps in mixing poha and upma as easily as in aluminum kadai. Easy to clean, does not burn your food. Go for it.

Quality Product and Good Design

Advantages
Very good product. It is heavy at the base, so food doesn't stick as easily. Gets better with use, as initially i found that food tends to stick, but after many uses, food sticks less. Retains heat well, the lid is also heavy, so I keep the flame in till three fourth of the cooking is done, and then close lid and switch off the flame. After half sn hour, it's fully cooked. So saves fuel too :)

Good product.

- The product is heavy and the build quality looks good.- However, I noticed yellow staining on the inside after heating oil at high temperature. So I think high flame heating should be avoided.- Size is good for a family of 4. For size comparison, I have kept my access card besides this kadhai in one of the photos.- The lid is nice. Would've been useful if it was a glass lid. This one has a non transparent lid and you got to open it everytime you want to check the items being cooked.

Good but could be priced a bit less

I've had the Bergner pan which use quite frequently. What I love about it is that fact that food doesn't as it usually does on thin SS pans (I have one of them!!) and the pan washes off easily. The same is true with the Wok as well. Cooks well, cleans well, goes into my dishwasher too. I am super happy with this. The cost might seem high - but this is a cookware that is going to last a very very long time. My pan has lasted me more then 8 years now - and this Wok's quality is just the same.I replaced one of my anodised woks with this - will replacing the other two as well one at a time :)Love the product. I highly recommend this.

Heavy Tri-ply clad cookware with a well-fitting stainless steel lid. This wok is built like a tank and should last a lifetime. Looks fantastic too! Follow the seasoning- (every time you use it) and heating (low-medium heat) instructions to ensure food doesn’t stick to the wok. Bought two sizes of the same style - in 3.9 and 1.5 liters - for cooking different portion sizes. The 3.9 liter wok is sufficient for a family of four.I’m hoping to get some clarity on the aluminum sandwich layer though - whether it’s all-clad (through the base right upto the rim) or if it’s only used in the base of the wok. The former would be the more desirable option. Anyone?

I wondered what Bergner doing in India ? Well, just a big thank you 'Bergner' for letting Indians be able to use such a mighty product from your stable -Pros:(1) Very thick/heavy (unimaginable even for Vinod to make it) - really triply pdk.(2) Outside is very shiny and easy to clean - usable in, gas stove, induction, every where..(3) Beautifully shaped, snugly fitted lid, highly polished for easy cleaning.(4) Brilliantly shaped bowl(6) You can lift the entire bowl-lid combo easily in and out of a fridge(7) Low fridge space consumedCons:(1) No holder for the lid, lifting the lid when hot is a bit annoying.

I wanted to replace my aluminium kadai. I could do it 100% with this kadai. Cleaning is easier than aluminium. I make curries, fry fish and egg in it. I use the same amount of oil i used in aluminium. Food sticks lesser than aluminium. Pan is heavy. It can heat up faster than aluminium heavy bottom pans in high flame. But heating is controllable and work like a charm in low and medium flames. It takes some time to cool down after heating up. Handles get hot if u keep it on flame for long time. It has mirror finish and can fade easily by rough use. But long lasting product. Good to invest on. I got it for 2350 for 2.5 litre kadai. It is expensive but still affordable than many other foreign brands which offer good triply woks.

Advantages
In India, most households use aluminum for cooking not just from a monetary standpoint but also because aluminum (copper too) is a far better conductor of heat than stainless steel and therefore the vessel base heats evenly without having the localized hotspot over the flame area seen in the stainless steel vessels. The consequence of this superior thermal conduction is that the aluminum vessel cooks/fries your food evenly and is less likely to burn your food like stainless steel does. However this comes with one big caveat ie: Aluminum leaches into food and once it enters your system the body has no idea how to eliminate it and these molecules finally get deposited into tissue including brain matter and studies have associated prolonged aluminum ingestion to diseases such as Alzheimer’s. Moreover, using a stainless steel stirring spoon with an aluminum vessel further aggravates the leaching as stainless steel being harder than aluminum easily scratches bits of aluminum off. Using a wooden spoon with aluminum vessels does help prevent this to a great extent….. but I digress….The reason I bought this pan was because, having a sandwiched layer of aluminum between the two stainless steel sheets, you get all the advantages of the even heating of aluminum vessels but your food is only in contact with the far safer stainless steel. Having used the pans for almost a year, I can safely say these were well worth it. I have been trying to migrate from Teflon non-stick pans (due to recent studies regarding carcinogens present in non-stick coatings) and these pans fit the bill perfectly!!!I also bought this product  and it's equally good!!

Stainless steel over aluminum.
