Very sturdy, high quality. I bought this primarily because I wanted something smallish that I could use for deep frying without having to use too much oil. It works for cooking small quantities of vegetables for 2 people. My maid is happy with it because she feels it gets hotter and cooks better than my ceramic coated wondechef kadai, however it does require a bit of scrubbing to clean. It is also quite discoloured on the outside after regular use but I don't particularly mind considering that it will probably last a lifetime.

Easily washable.Dislike: None.Advice: Before using these stainless steel vessels, learn the basics of how to cook in them, how to season them and how to wash them. If you can maintain them the way they’re supposed to, they will definitely last a decade!

This is a good size kadai for meal cooking for 3/4 people. green leafy vegetabkes & tomato based curries taste much better in this ss kadai. plus really good for slow roasting semolina or sooji halwa. good for searing meat & chicken too, pretty easy to clean & is looking new still after many washes. but high price does not justify it , its stiil a bit of steel metal & aluminium forged in it, thats all.

I live in US and I am a big fan of triply and five ply high end cookware sold in Europe and USA.I bought this kadai in India and it is similar in quality to the triply stainless steel cookware in US and Europe. It’s very heavy kadai. I love it and food doesn’t burn or stick into it. I am going to order some more bergener cookware products. Because I know they are going to last for generations.

I purchased this steel kadai to replace my aluminium kadai & was a bit sceptical as to if it would work like the aluminium kadai. Surprisingly the bergner steel kadai is better than aluminium kadai & super easy to clean as well. Keep it on medium flame & your food doesn’t stick to the pan. That’s the only thing to remember. I made ghee, chutney, veg curry, caramel popcorn etc in it & it’s worked very well for me. The little bit of caramel & ghee particles that was stuck to the kadai came off very easily while washing. It’s worth the price!!I just had to edit my review on this product, as this steel kadai is worth buying & anybody who has any doubts about the food sticking to the kadai please be do not worry it isn’t as bad as it sounds..yes no doubt it’s not a non stick pan but it’s better to switch to steel than to use non stick in which the coating peels off & leaches into the food. The only drawback I would say is that they don’t have a bigger kadai day about 30cm which would have been a perfect size for a slightly larger family!!

This makes Indian cooking very easy.....as none of the sabzi’s I cook ever get scorched or burnt. However, cleaning it is a bit of challenge.....that is why I am rating this as 4star. From all other perspectives it is excellent - even the looks!April 7, 2023 - this product is amazing. Super quality and made for chefs only :) Continues to be looking as beautiful as it was when delivered - three years ago.

I love the shape. food cooks really well in it. Doesnt burn easily. Even if something burns a bit if you soak it in water, it cleans out easily. It also works well with dishwasher. I like the compact design.Sometimes a bit difficult to pick up the cover as it doesnt have a handle. but I have plenty of them with handle that are difficult to store and take up too much space so it is depends on what irritates you more

Product is fantastic I bought it 7 days back and cooked every kind of Indian food like kheer and Dakota, but it doesn't sticks to the bottom. And washing is also so easy. Just put water and ket it boil then put washing liquid or powder and let it boil then wash it and again wipe kadai with soft cloth then put it on flame pour little oil and spread it all over using any tissue. Then ita ready to use.No need to do this process all over again. Yes but try to cook on low to medium flame.Thanks Amazon on time delivery
