Idlies plates has a small holes, makes the batter pass through it. Plates stand on the below plate, hence need to fill all 5 to balance the plate. Lid is not tight to hold the steam. Steam pass through the sides of the lid, hence pushes up and takes long time to cook the idlies. Overall not satisfied with the product.

very bad product ... the Lid of the Pigeon Hot 20 Idly Pot with Steamer is not fit ... all time steam going out through the lid ... loss money ... not good .. no safety valve for high pressure release , due to full steam in idly pot the lid is leaking the steam all the time.i cannot exchange or replace it because i brought it to abroad ...don't buy this product very very experience ...
