Hawkins Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Handi is ideal for cooking Palak Paneer Vegetable Thai Curry Rasogolla Dum Aloo and many more. It is a well-designed Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Cookware. It retains the advantages of cooking on stainless steel surfaces while eliminating the disadvantages of sticking and burning that come with normal stainless steel. It is made of three layers. The cooking surface is made of AISI 304 18/8 food grade stainless steel that is extremely hygienic durable and non-reactive to most foods. It does not pit or corrode. The core is made of heavy gauge aluminium which spreads heat evenly and prevents hot spots. The base and the outer surface is made of AISI 430 grade magnetic steel works well on gas ceramic halogen electric and induction cooktops. It is securely packed in an attractive box ideal for gifting.

Cleaning around the rivets is little bit difficult.The company could have given one large rivets instead of two small rivets for handle.Moreover one small hole on the lid for the steam to escape.

The look is so appealing. 3 litre is perfect for making 1.5 l to 2 litre paalada or milk based sweet/payasam without spilling. The base is heavy and evenly spreads heat. If kept in low flame, then no need of continuous stirring. Occasional stirring is enough. Works well on induction also. The lid doesn't have a hole for hot air escape. However, it doesn't seem to matter much. Overall it's beauty and perfection gives a feeling that it's an asset in kitchen!

Their is a sticker in box mentioned SSD Reversal. Don’t know whether I got original product.Also Hawkins paste one sticker inside this utensil and after removing it the glue remains in it which is very hard to clean. One should always take care of such issues.

This product came with a glass lid and they have given a wooden saute spoon with a dish washing brush which are actually not included in the product description.....the quality is excellent with a wooden handle....due to the thickness of pan the product is little heavy
