I ordered this Anodised Stewpot along with Anodised Flat Bottom Deep-Fry pan and Hard Anodised Tawa from Olympia Industries Ltd. for my parents living in south kolkata. It arrived at end of May 2014 in a huge box containing all the three utensils at a post office (not the nearest one). My father had to go there and bring these home. This can not be acceptable. My father at this age had to go there by himself and bring them! When I ordered them there was no mention that the things would be delivered to a post office which is not even the nearest one. This is extremely disappointing. If you guys want money to deliver them to home then ask for it.Secondly, one of the two handles of the Stewpot is broken. And adding to the misery it has been one and a half months since I complained and loosing my patience.To sum this up. I won't buy anything from them. My parents could have bought these things from local shop 5 minutes far from home with warranty of perfect condition. I did not give them any gift I just made them suffer for few days. I won't recommend to anyone. These kind of service is totally unacceptable.

I am amazed by the quality of this pot for the price. It has very even heat distribution and the coating is super tough. The pot is not non stick however the coating is very easy to clean. We have cooked many large pots of food with sauces where the bottom could burn and stick however it does not burn easily and if some does stick to the bottom while cooking then it still easily cleans off. Bery good coating. I thought the outside of the pot would scratch but it also Is very durable. Definitely worth the money. Excellent purchase!

Very good quality, Hawkins is the only brand that offers cookware of 4.06mm thickness in the market ... can make 3 kgs of gajar halwa easily. Food does not burn provided you put in some oil and heat it well before putting the food in. However would recommend the steel lid instead of the glass one as the steel rim of the glass lid was a little pinched at the joint. Very easy to wash as well.

Surprisingly, preparing Kesari, Halwa also comes pretty well and non-sticky, though this is not a non-stick. The handle offers good grip and the vessel is well built.In the box, you will find the cooking stewpot of ~2 Liters with lid, warranty card (Not sealed), service manual and some cooking tips card.It serves the purpose very well and easy to wash. After using it for sometime the inner base has got de-colorized and if cooked on slight high flame, the food in it gets stuck to the inner base of the fearless. Handles are good.Outside shine is still there.

I have already used other hard anodised products from Hawkins. It is durable and very easy to clean. Low flame is enough to cook.This stewpot 8.5 liters was delivered in good condition. Used it to make briyani. As mentioned in the instructions it cooked evenly in the low flame. Little bit of rice stuck to the bottom of the pot but didn’t burn. And it was easy to clean also. Overall, it is a good product.
