It takes exactly a minute and half 45 seconds each side to prepare a sandwich. I just place half a cheese slice in between some pepper and salt n a lil bit of butter on both sides and put it on. 45 secs on each side and there's easy crunchy sandwich ready for breakfast. It's easy to use, easy to clean, lightweight and absolutely awesome. The package came properly sealed. Loving this. Way better than electric ones as I don't run the risk of short circuit, meltdowns etc
