It's a decent size wok, but definitely not a nonstick one. Substantial oil has to be added to cook well, otherwise the food sticks to the pan.

This is the best kadai in India. There is no other product like this in India. I searched everywhere across all brands, this is the best one I found, there is one in Vinod similar to this, but it doesn't have lid, this comes with lid, thus is best to for using by holding the handle, that's why I bought this, you can cook almost everything in this, deep fry, saute, I have cooked, Noodles, pasta, chicken fry, curry, egg, made a sweet, it does not stick to the vessel as it is tryply and thick, just go for it, and if you are looking for larger size than this, then you will not get the handle, then I would suggest you to go with bergner kadai, for smaller and medium size you can buy from Stahl as it comes with handle and lid. We love using it everyday. Its perfect. Easy to use and easy to clean. The lid fits perfectly as usual with this brand. Goes into the dishwasher too. Oil stains can come off with hand scrub. But dont cook on very high heat. Steel can get really hot.
