Was in search of a good skillet that is small in size. Had actually considered buying lodge, but very happy I went with Meyer. This is my 2nd Meyer. Good pre seasoning. Sturdy and great to use

Being pre-seasoned, very little, if at all, blackness passes on to the food. As the surface is slightly corrugated, the food does not stick as much as it does on similar vessels from other manufacturers. Heats up slowly and spreads heat well as it is very robust and heavy, so there is less chance of the food getting charred quickly.

I was very skeptical about buying this as its costly but I wanted to chose a healthy option specially for my baby and I bought this. I was so amazed when I fried egg and it did not stick at all it was like a new non-stick pan. If you are doubtful then dont be go ahead and buy. Yes you do need to season this and maintain it but the results are worthy and guilt free non stick cooking. I make egg , pancakes and tikki also shallow fry anything
