I bought this pan to particularly make dose as I dint want to use non stick dose pan. The doses come very nice and crispy.I seasoned the pan as per the instructions manual and made 1 small dose to check and boy was I surprised! Perfect dose!Once the pan is seasoned it is just like a non stick pan. So for the subsequent doses I sprinkled some water on the pan put few drops of oil and spread it with an onion and poured the batter.The pan is heavy and it's handle is very smooth and elegant.This pan is not dishwasher safe.It does get discoloured on the 1st use but it can be cleaned with vinegar.The instructions manual itself is so impressive.Overall a very good pan and the price is also lower than other brands.I would definitely recommend this to other people and use it after reading the detailed instructions manual.

The pan is thick bottomed and distributes heat evenly while cooking. Have been using it since a couple of weeks now and very satisfied with the quality. Have tried simple stir fries as well as shallow fry with oil, and the food has not burnt even once. Due to uniform distribution of heat, the vegetables are evenly cooked, so there is no case of some parts being overcooked and some undercooked. Only small drawback is the pan is a little heavy.

The product is really good. Definitely a must have product in your kitchen. The wooden spatula is in broken condition when delivered. The broken spatula is little disappointment but we have neem wood made ladle/spatula bought from Indus Valley so no Problem. If seller can arrange another hawkins wooden spatula it wood be great else it's fine. I didn't return the product because Silkrute was very accommative towards me. First I ordered 22 inches Hawkins Pan but it was very small for even one person use. So I placed return and they accepted without any problem. So I wanted to be accommodative towards Silkrute.

My rating of three star is not for the product quality. the product may be deserving a better rating.Hawkins is a trusted brand and the frypan I bought was thick enough, of rugged construction and right sized for me. All fine..But I am unable to use it because they have affixed a sticker inside the cooking area of the frypan exactly at the centre..!!! I removed the sticker but unable to clean the residue the sticker has left on the cooking surface...! I got some solutions from the youtube and need to try today. The sticker carries information about the size, steel grade etc.. This information is useful before buying , but the sticker is visible only when you buy and open the package. So, that sticker is absolutely not necessary at that place, it can be placed elsewhere but definitely not in the cooking surface. Cooking surface should be absolutely intact.This is not the first instance... whenever you buy any utensil like frypan or saucepan or tawa of any brand...you will have to remove various stickers before putting them into work..!!! ...if a homemaker mother tries to abrase the residue of the sticker with knife or any other sharp objects (which is very likely to happen), the surface gets damaged permanently...There may be solutions to remove the residue, but why the sticker has to be placed exactly at the center of the cooking surface..?? I don't get it..Hawkins is a reputed brand and we expect them to consider the customers' sentiments.

Writing this review after using the pan for a week, daily.It's sturdy, heats up evenly, foos doesn't stick or burn.Have cooked oats, maggi, sauted potates in it, and it turned out just fine. Stainless steel utensils in my kitchen and love this product. Will buy more of Hawkins products.

Quality is really great.Unfortunately it does not get 5 star because whoever in Hawkins thought it is a good idea to stick a sticker that does not come off in the center of the cooking area.I soaked it in water for 5 days, but it still will not peel off .I really want to know what made the manufacturer attach a sticker like this.
