The pan is thick bottomed and distributes heat evenly while cooking. Have been using it since a couple of weeks now and very satisfied with the quality. Have tried simple stir fries as well as shallow fry with oil, and the food has not burnt even once. Due to uniform distribution of heat, the vegetables are evenly cooked, so there is no case of some parts being overcooked and some undercooked. Only small drawback is the pan is a little heavy.

On the new pan the packaging came with a sticker with information that is on the box already and the gum on the sticker is not coming off. Have scrubbed it with hot water and detergent with the nylon scrub provided. It still looks like the photo attached!Feedback to manufacturer.. DO NOT stick anything on the cooking side of the pan!

Quality is good but not set for fry’s . Bottom got sticking if we do fry like potato. Quality wise also we can only do 500grm or 750 grams hardly in this pan. So for less quantity curries it will suits

Bought a steel pan rather than the many non stick types in the market. On a high flame, and with too little oil, the food tends to burn, being steel heats up quickly. One of the disadvantages of steelware. The sticker put IN the pan, on removal leaves a glue that is difficult to remove. This should have been on the outside of the pan.

Received it today. The build and non-stick quality is excellent and was evident while taking out the label stuck in the inside of the pan with glue and has good heat distribution, is sturdy, heavy and easy to clean and handle.It's far better than any brand and even better than the 5 ply pan of VINOD.It can be equivalent or better in some ways as compared to Cast Iron pans or skillets.The only thing requiring attention is that it shouldn't be put on high flame or should be dry or empty heated. Follow the instructions in the booklet accompanying it.Definitely a must have.

Good heavy pan/will need both hands to move about esply with food in it/quite large/extremely stable on the stove.One has to really follow the maintenance instructions to keep it stain free.Even preheating shd be only on a low flame(I only preheat after lightly coating the surface with oil ).Food cooks beautifully/tastes good(cover the pan while cooking/keep stirring frequently). Decided to stick with Hawkins after really looking through all the other similar products. It's also much cheaper than other triply cookware in the market ,so really value for money .Huge plus was the wooden handle {none of the others have this}.Only complaint , label on the food surface of the pan ...Took some cleaning to get off all the gum residue & it's still left a slight discoloration . Hawkins , Please apply labels on the non cooking surfaces !

It is an awesome product. Hawkins products are superior, no doubt in that. This pan is really heavy and super sturdy. Before buying, you should know what sort of pan you required and for what purpose. It's not non stick bit you can easily make it by seasoning it. And obviously, you will have to take care while cleaning it. It has left marks after first use but I read that using vinegar, lime juice will remove that so will try after few uses. But if u know how to cook with steel pans, just go for it.
