Those who are expecting deep bowl type cookware .... this is not of that type .... it’s shallow and broad type cookware .... good and easy to use. If we are frying then it should be always in low flame but while cooking with water included then .... it’s okay for normal flame

1.This kadai is sturdy , and takes low oil in comparison to aluminum and other steel kadai . 2. You can't use it with zero oil , but I think no one in India cooks food with zero oil and then put oil over cooked food for garnishing as people do in foreign countries.so yeah you need a little oil to cook in this kadhai. 3. So it's a very good cookware . It's not as sticky as my other normal steel pan. 4. Food cooks very fast in this kadai due to overall heating . Like dry cabbage ,Tadka for daal which includes onion tomato etc. 5. You can't forget to turn food while cooking for longer time like for 10 minutes as you can do in non stick , otherwise food will definitely stick in it's bottom but this thing will happen only when you cook dry items like lady finger etc. Where you completely avoid water . 6. I am pure vegetarian so I can't say anything about how this kadai will work for non veg dishes. 7. Only point which can bother someone is it's wooden handle which in long term slightly starts looking older . 8. Mostly people avoid instructions that's why they damage their non stick and this type of cookware . Don't use steel scrub and metal spoons . For non stick it's completely no- no , your non stick cookware will destroy in one wash due to steel scrub but this kadai will tolerate it but will get so much scratches that it's looks and smoothness will get destroy .so use wooden spatula and other non harsh scrubs to maintain it for long term . So overall you can definitely try this triply , as this is from reputed brand Hawkins and then also cheaper than other kadai offering by some other brands .

I had purchased a Hawkins 2.5 Litre Deep Fry Pan, Triply Stainless Steel Kadai with Glass Lid, Flat Bottom Induction Kadhai, Silver (SSD25G) | B07Z3R64MK ( B07Z3R64MK ) HSN:73239390 from Amazon on 20.12.2022. I would like to report here with a lot of dissatisfaction that the Kadhai got burn just after the first use on Induction stove. It doesn't seem to be suitable for induction purpose. (Photos attached for ready reference) . Look at the condition for yourself. The worst part that my trust in the Brand of Hawkins has been betrayed here. I had purchased the Kadhai for my sister who took the product to the USA on 11th Jan 2023 and even paid around Rs. 4000/- extra for the Hawkins Kadhai as it surpassed her allowable luggage carrying limits. As the Kadhai is of no use to me now, I demand refund of the whole amount I have paid for the Kadhai. plus the amount paid for the extra luggage on international flight

Advantages
Its working fine for me and I like it. The only problemb you may face is it's little wide and take space on your gas. If you are looking for a compact kadhai, then do not go for it otherwise quality is good.

I am writing this review after daily use of kadhai for one month.It’s a very good quality kadhai, suitable for veg non veg both. Prefer to cook on medium heat, else food might stick or even get burn if kept on high for dry items,Mostly I cooked gravy items all kinds of sabji n non veg, n for dry items more oil is required n sometimes a splash of water to avoid burning of food if using less oil. Even if food sticks at times, it’s very easy to clean n looks as new.The trick is never to put Hawkins kadhaii on high heat as soon as u put on gas stove, add oil n then heat properly.I feel happy to replace aluminum kadhai with this one.Good enough for 4-5ppl.Handle is sturdy.Lid is awesome.Cooks food faster , I have cooked chicken egg curry in 1spoon of oilCompared to other kadhai I prefer this one coz of wooden handle also which is quiet helpful. Hawkins is Hawkins!!
