This is a perfect small deep frying kadhai for all deep frying needs like puri, bengali luchi, piyaz pakora, jalebi etc. It is round bottomed and capacity is 1.5 litres. So far of all pans I have used to prepare deep fried foods, this one is the best suited for the job. The handles are riveted and made with high quality plastic. It requires much less oil for deep frying than flat bottom kadhai. Non stick coating is very nice. The outer body is hard anodized. But it is DISHWASHER UNSAFE.I purchased this considering all my other non stick cookwares (Prestige) washes perfectly in dishwasher. However, on this one the outer body paint washed off the first time I washed it in dishwasher. The inner non stick coating and the outer bottom hard anodized part is dishwasher safe but paint is NOT. Hawkins used very low quality paint on a perfectly good product. After the paint washed off, aluminium started leeching from the outer body. On touch, aluminium dust will rub off from it. While cooking, if oil drizzle down from the outer side it will get stained/greasy and impossible to remove by hand scrubbing or dishwasher cleaning which gives it a forever unclean/dirty look even if it is freshly washed.Hawkins ruined a perfect pan just by using very bad and low quality outer body paint. However, it is still a great pan for deep frying and inner non stick coat is excellent. It comes with a wooden spatula, a cookbook with simple recipe like egg curry, fish curry etc, and warranty card. NOT DISHWASHER SAFE.

Have been waiting for a price drop to buy this. Finally bought this for Rs 1225 (MRP 1375) with 15% amazon pay cashback. So effective price is Rs 1042, which is a fantastic deal for this pan. The package contains a deep fry pan, a lid, a wooden spatula and a nylon scrubber. The deep fry pan has a diameter of 25 cm and a depth of 8 cm. Photos are attachedThe product is non stick in its true sense. As with all non stick utensils use this in low heat for a long life. The quality is exceptional. But that is to be expected from the Hawkins brand. This pan has a 2 year warranty. Log on to hawkinscookers.com and register your product as soon as you receive the product. Clean using the nylon scrubber provided with the pan. Avoid using steel spoons in the pan.Dont go for low price pans, because most of them will be worn out by the end of the year. Spend a little more and get a product that last twice or thrice the life of low priced ones. Overall excellent product.NB - Hawkins rarely offers deep discount like Prestige and other brands. So if you get around 5-10 % discount to MRP buy without second thoughts.

If you are confused between brands and thinking as to why you need to spend this much think no more. I was in a similar state and glad that I purchased Hawkins. Its been more than 1.5 years since I been using this product and the inner coating is as good as new. Use a silicone ladle with this and clean using soft scrubber (preferably pink one from scotch brite) and the product will last you really long. Impressive quality and durability. This product is worth every rupee spent. When your helper washes it just ask them to keep this separately as occasional rubbing with steel/aluminium utensils can damage the coating.FYI... my helper forgets to do this most of the time and ends up using green scrubber still the product has shown no signs of damage on coating. However as it is placed along with other utensils the edges have developed minor scratches. Nothing serious.

Durable Product, I Suggest Hawkins Company to this Non Stick kadhai is small for bigger family you want to make some big size Non Stick kadhai. I'm the first Customer to Purchase it when launch it big size Kadhai.Another thing also say it With this Kadhai "one glass or Steel Lid" Provide it too much buying this kadhai also you can kadhai with Lid Some Amount increases but its perfectly done with this.I have purchased glass lid extra for this Kadhai.Lastly,Amazon it's good for any thing happened for Customers.Thank you for Good Delivery.

This kadhai comes with a warranty card,(of course not filled as online shopping doesn't provide one) a wooden spatula and a recipe book which has one or two recipes each of every utensil produced by hawkins futura.• PROS-Absolutely nonstick.-Consumes very less oil.-Absolutely no food sticking either at bottom or sides.-perfect for cooking dry veggies or meat or roasting flourbir peanuts etc considering the thick material used.- perfect for cooking a meal for 2-3 people.•CONS- The kadhai is priced at ₹950 got it on Amazon for approx ₹910. For this price range at least a steel lid must be provided along with the kadhai. While purchasing I couldn't see the variant with lid. On the box it's mentioned as optional. I doubt if only lid can he made available. Else it's a 5* product.

Costly deep fry pan. Size is smaller than I expected. Earlier thought of buying 2.5 litre pan thinking that 4 litre pan could be very large. But 4 litre pan is just the size what we needed. Packaging was good. Hawkins seal was tampered, a transparent tape was used to cover it up. I think it's returned product. But pan is in good condition and feels sturdy. Hope durable too. Wooden spatula provided with this box is useless. They could have provided good quality wooden spatula for the price. Scrubber, waranty card and manual were there in the box. Registered the product on Hawkins website.

Was planning to purchase a non stick kadhai for so long and my wait has paid off I had used prestige and wonderchef high end kadhai but this one tops them all. Nice size you can cook 2kg chicken easily. Heats and Cooks evenly. No sticking at all. Easy to clean. And you would absolutely love it when you see Oil and water come to a boil,every bubble just seems so beautiful in this kadhai. Thanks Hawkins and Amazon. Loved it! Would have been even better if you had a glass lid version of it.

The product is of Good quality and has a thick base .Super easy to cleanHave used it for a month now and am quite satisfied with the product.The size is good enough for cooking for 2-3 persons.The round bottom one is good for deep frying but is not sturdy, so have to be hold the handles while stirring.

1. Packaging was not on expected lines - didn't have a separate cover for kadai, but a cover was provided for the lid- surprising... care should hold have been taken by the supplier, cloudtail ( amazon retail arm) and amazon themselves as it is amazon delivered.2. one of the handles had a small peel-off at the back indicating it should have been an "open box" item( like what they call in USA) or manufacturing defect3. but the quality I expected is found there that was why I didn't return yet... Futura's flat bottom kadai product I returned due to inappropriate description and ordered this item.4. hope it will work well by retaining the same quality for some years at least, though we pay very much attention to the maintainance of the product

The non-stick coating on this kadhai looks quite good. Size is good enough for a family of 4-5. Very easy to clean, minimal oil required for cooking anything. It gets heated up fast without burning the food. Looks like it will last much longer than the other prestige, vinod kadhais whose granite coating also comes off in just a few months. Only downside is it doesn't have a flat bottom and not induction friendly.
