It's a product with the quality you expect from Hawkins. It's expensive and you get what you pay for. Just know that it is an induction-base pan, so it will take a longer time to heat up and doesn't get very hot on a gas stove due to the additional layering that is designed for induction.If you are buying this, you probably want to slow-fry veggies/meat, and for that, it's really good. Very evenly distributed heat. Don't expect the high-heat frying performance of a normal "kadai". This wasn't designed for high-heat cooking (like egg fried rice)UPDATE:After almost 2 years of mild use, it has started warping. As in, the middle area has lifted up, leading to unequal distribution on heat. All the oil get funneled towards the sides while the middle area remains dry. Deducting 1 star for having a short life spam

I have been using Hawkins products for over a decade and my last pan lasted over two years of constant frying and sauteing. This particular 26 cm pan delivered to me yesterday, seems to better than the others as it also came with a 2 year warranty card, a wooden spatula and a nylon scrubber.I am pleased with this purchase. Would definitely like to recommend it to anyone

I'd got defected lid. And i didn't bought in much discount. Yes many things were free such as wooden spatula, nylon scrub recipe book is there user manual. Quality was looking good. The small size pan looks too small. And very heavy. I didn't used as i hv to return defected product. Idk how was the performance
