Advantages

I am writing this review after two or three months because I didn't want to comment on the product unless I use it personally. So far I have not seen any issue with the pan. I believe it also depends on how you use it and when you wash it post cooking on it. I have tried to follow the instructions as per the manual and so far haven't found any problem. The coating has not come out yet which usually is an issue with non-stick frying pans.

Advantages

I love this tawa. Have used it to make omelets, sunny side over eggs, pancakes, toast bread, and cook ready to cook chicken. It is non-stick, not heavy and easy to clean. Quality also feels premium and not run of the mill item. Only issue is the wooden spatula provided is not sharp and therefore flipping omelets a little challenge and would tempt one to use a metal spatula thereby damaging the coating.

The pan itself appears to be good. It was used for two weeks before falling from a height of ~3 feet. The handle completely snapped off which surprised me. Sadly I can't find a replacement handle to purchase on Amazon, so will have to take it to a service centre to get replaced.

I'm gonna cut to the chase & say that this is a great product from hawkins. Next for details," First, the non-stick coating feels premium, sturdy and better than that of prestige's "granite" coating, if that makes sense. Second, the handle also is stiffly attached without any movement, which i appreciate. Third, the pan is suitable for omelette and small fryings, and it is a bit smaller than what I expected. I expected the bottom of the pan to be 22cm, but its actually the top- the wider part of the pan. All that are impressions from first five or so uses. Will update later with issues if they come up.
