Advantages
This is the first time I am using an anodised cookware. Never expect a nonstick pan. Food sticks and is difficult to clean. But very durable, can use metal spoons and scrubs may last more than 5 years not good for frying as it consumes lots of oil.

Even if for medium size it's so heavy that it tends to twist my wrist. Large size pan will be unimaginable. Why it has to be so bulky when it only performs mere vegetable frying .

Best quality product by Hawkins. It's easy to clean, sturdy and durable. Looks very premium. Though it's not a nonstick item, food doesn't stick to the pan and metal ladles can be used with it which is a great advantage of this product. It also comes with a stainless steel lid. Hawkins also provides a 5year guaranty on its products, but the buyer have to register the product within 15 days of purchase in the company's website with the guaranty card number provided with the product. More over I love this product and recommend to buy.

The pan is quite useful however, it requires considerable oil to ensure that food does not stick. Not suitable for making sunnyside up eggs unless one is very liberal with the oil. Should have chosen the nonstick version

I am satisfied with the quality of the product and no qualms at all.It definitely is not a replacement of non-stick cookware as I had veguely thought. However, I wanted to do away with the risk of using non-stick cookware and hence moved onto this. Given a choice, I recommend using steel vessel over hard anodised.You have to cook at the lowest flame as a mandate and ensure that the vessel is oiled enough so that the food doesnt stick. If you cook at high flame the food gets stuck to the vessel and its a daunting task to scrub it off. However, not as daunting as cleaning up a steel vessel.I would recommend this vessel over usual steel utensils only if you want to save gas. Food cooks slightly faster and more uniformly than steel utensils. Otherwise I don't see a strong reason to purchase this vessel.

This is so perfect!!! I do not like non-stick. So, I have been searching for a small pan without that terrible non-stick coating but could not find one for ages. This one perfectly fits the bill. It is sturdy. Small. Not non-stick. Wow!

If you are looking for a non sticky frying pan for frying things and for making subjies. I would suggest you to not choose this item. Everything gets stuck to this pan and you will have to use a lot of oil which actually defeats the purpose of buying this non stick pan.I went by the reviews and bought this item, realised that it was the biggest mistake.
