I have been an ardent user and a fan of non-stick for years. However, when I recently discovered how harmful non-stick coating/Teflon is for one's body, I started researching for alternate cooking material. Thank God for Hawkins, who never fail to satisfy their customers. Regarding the Anodised frying pan, I SIMPLY LOVE IT!!! Yes, food does stick on to it, if there is no oil. But, I did find a small trick that works as a miracle. Rub the pan with a stick of butter or a spoon or two of oil and then it is good to use. I use it exclusively to cook vegetables and make egg dishes. Extremely durable, retains heat well, and simply perfect for a family of 2 or 3 members. Oh yes, I almost forgot, you can use a metal spatula without any concerns!
